Top Model po-russki is a Russian reality television show and the second Russian adaptation of Tyra Banks' America's Next Top Model, after You are a Supermodel, which aired from 2004 to 2007. The show places a group of young contestants from Russia against each other in a variety of challenges to determine who will win title of the next Russian Top Model along with a lucrative modelling contract, and other prizes in the hope of a successful future in the modeling industry.

TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak announced a casting for the show. After 3 months of casting and visiting 16 Russian cities, 34 beauties arrived in Moscow. The jury began the test with a runway, after which three participants were sent home. The next morning, the girls were waiting for a photo session. Then there was an interview with the participants, where the jury members considered candidates for victory. After an interview, the jury reduced the list to 17 participants. Later in the evening, Ksenia chose 17 girls for the title of "Top Model po-russki", and the remaining 14 girls had to leave.

The season is scheduled to premiere on March 25, 2012 and will contain 14 aspiring contestants. The prizes this season have grew slightly. This is a brand new Ford Fiesta, a one year modeling contract with Wilhelmina Models, a trip to a spa resort in Slovenia sponsored by "Orsoten Slim", a fashion spread for Cosmopolitan magazine, and the cover of Cosmopolitan Beauty. Among the contestants this season, were an ex drug-addict, a plus-size model, and a transsexual model. The international destination for this cycle was Miami, Florida.

Top Model po-russki, cycle 4 was the fourth installment of the Russian adaptation of Tyra Banks' America's Next Top Model. This cycle featured a fully revamped judging panel: Ksenia Sobchak was replaced by Irina Shayk as host, with the judging panel being J. Alexander, Tess Feuilhade, and Vincent McDoom. The entire cycle was filmed in Paris, France, and aired on You-tv from September to December 2012. The twenty semi-finalists converged in front of the Bolshoi Theatre for a public introduction with the judges. They later took on their first photo shoot, which involved posing for promotional stills and filming segments for the show's opening sequence.
