Detective Sonja Kljun is sent to Subotica to investigate the suspicious suicide of the son of a local powerful man. Despite the warm welcome, Sonja wants to complete the task as soon as possible and return to her family.

Sveta Surla is putting pressure on Sonja's investigation, which is further made difficult by her complicated family situation. A meeting with journalist Julijan leads to a leak of information and the death of an innocent informant.

Sonja is convinced that the two alleged suicides are connected. At the same time, she is increasingly haunted by nightmares and dangerous hallucinations. Olja experiences similar symptoms, and her dreams reveal key clues to Sonja's case.

Sonja draws parallels between the two victims, but also with her old case from Belgrade, which leads her to an ambitious but tense theory. Julijan's brother suddenly returns from abroad with a large amount of money and unfinished business.

Two new murders. Sonja is forced to suspend the investigation and help her colleagues, but she soon realizes that maybe these murders are also part of a mosaic of a complicated case that is slowly coming together.

Sonja reveals the reason for the murders of the politician and the businessman, but not the person who ordered them. At the same time, Olja conducts her own investigation, prompted by turbulent dreams, and prevents a new murder.

After the successful closure of the case, Sonja says goodbye to Subotica and returns to Belgrade. Olja opposes, because she is haunted in her dreams by missing children, whom she wants to help.

Kristijan hypnotizes Sonja in an attempt to uncover deeply repressed memories and traumas from the past. Sonja remembers her forgotten childhood, the truth about her father's suicide, and the true meaning of prophetic dreams.

Kristijan hopes that Sonja will want to help him now that she knows the truth, but she is angry and threatens him to stay away from her and Olja. The truth has only motivated her even more to settle all unfinished business.

Olja's prophetic dream saves Petra's life, thanks to Kristijan's intervention. Sonja is trapped, forced to compromise herself and everything she has fought for, in order to protect her family.
