Celebrities Under Pressure
Overview
Celebrities Under Pressure is a Saturday night entertainment show which aired in the United Kingdom on ITV. The show follows families allowing a celebrity to live with them for a week as they attempt to learn a new skill from their hosts. The celebrity's progress is followed through a video diary, before they are tested in a live studio situation. If successful, the celebrity will win a string of prizes for the family they stayed with, however, if they fail, the family goes home with nothing. The show relates strongly to an earlier ITV game show The Moment of Truth, which is the same concept, but with one member of the family, not celebrities. The first two series were presented by Melanie Sykes, with Vernon Kay presenting the newer episodes.

2003-09-13This exciting new show kicks off - and sees celebrities moving in with ordinary families, and try to learn a new skill in order to win prizes for their chosen family. First up is 80s pin-up Sam Fox. She moves in with the Walker family; Susan and Michael, and their three children - Hayley, Ryan and Mitchell. Her task is to learn how to score penalties through numbered hoops inside a goal, in numerical order. She hopes to send the family to Italy, allow Susan to go sky-diving, win a shopping trip for Hayley in Canada, and win a mountain bike each for the boys. Luckily for the family, Sam performs well when she is tested in the studio, completing her task well within the time limit, meaning that the Walker family win their prizes! Next is it-girl and ""I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here"" contestant Tara Palmer Tomkinson. She is the guest of the Wall family, and has to memorise the prices of 60 supermarket items. She is trying to win mum Sandra a personal shopper to help her choose cloth

2004-07-31Model Caprice, ex - Bill star Daniel MacPherson and Celebrity Fit Club's Alison Hammond were the three stars playing to win prizes for three families. Caprice's challenge was to memorize 26 different types of pigs and all of their names. Gorgeous Daniel MacPherson's challenge was to perform the YMCA while wing - walking! Alison Hammond was to header footballs into a basket, but unfortunately failed. Daniel MacPherson completed the challenge as did Caprice (I think!).
