Babette
Overview
Babette is a woman in dire straits. An unemployed illegal immigrant from France, she must make a desperate choice when threatened with an eviction from her landlord. This choice leads to an encounter with Amir, a detached and lonely young Muslim American, that ends with devastating results for them both.
