| While by itself, Tremors-3 may be an OK movie, it is nothing when compared to the original Tremors or even Tremors-2. There are the number of inevitable reasons that include the deletion of several of the previous cast and a not so fantastic storyline. Perhaps the biggest strength of the Tremors series was that the graboid was a animatronic/puppet which made it very realistic and threatening. However, in this movie, they've gone and used a lot of CGI for both the assblasters and the Graboids. The CGI looks terrible and so unconvincing that the fright value totally goes away and even a Tremors fan would be highly embarrassed. Lastly, this movie yet again fails to explain the origins of the Graboid. |
