In order to save his dying father, young stunt cyclist Johnny Blaze sells his soul to Mephistopheles and sadly parts from the pure-hearted Roxanne Simpson, the love of his life. Years later, Johnny's path crosses again with Roxanne, now a reporter, and also with Mephistopheles, who offers to release Johnny's soul if Johnny becomes the fabled, fiery Ghost Rider, a supernatural agent of vengeance and justice. Mephistopheles charges Johnny with defeating the despicable Blackheart, Mephistopheles's nemesis and son, who plans to displace his father and create a new hell even more terrible than the old one. |

| Even if they had pulled off the digital performance of Ghost Rider the character, the other nail in the coffin of Ghost Rider the movie is the action. This is, after all, a movie about a comic book hero of sorts. You'd expect big, over the top action sequences. You can expect it, but what you'll get here is pretty tepid stuff. |

| Another brilliant film of one of my favourite actors Nicolas Cage. I went to the cinemas to see this film and it was so Ultra cool that I did not eat my popcorn & I couldn't take my eyes of the screen and the movie made my day. One of the best Marvel comic films I ever seen with a high budget about $110 million. The action and cinematography was excellent. The story is quite similar to Daredevil because of the same director Mark Steven Johnson e.g. Death of father and boy grew up to be a super hero. So this movie is recommended to those who liked Daredevil. In my opinion Daredevil was also good but Ghost Rider is a 1000 times better! The best scene in the film has to be when Johnny Blaze turned into the Ghost Rider the second time while he was in prison & after he broke out he was riding his bike over the bridge then onto the lake later he drove upwards to a building & jumped off after spinning the helicopter with his chains and the way his bike goes with flaming wheels it is simply just Awesome. I want to get it on DVD the first day it comes out. |
