| HACK!, contrary to some posted comments, is not a true "horror" film. And thank god for that! I found it amusing and a breath of fresh air the twist with Danica McKellar at the end was great! I rent a lot of horror movies that are mundane, you know what's going to happen and most are basically a bore! I had a lot of fun with HACK! which I just happened to pick up at Blockbuster last weekend. Although far from perfect it was a treat. Without a doubt it makes more references to horror films than any other film I've seen, probably more than 100. (Does anyone know?) That alone was worth renting it. And the acting was good, I believe it was suppose to be campy and that kept with the theme. I really enjoyed HACK! and definitely recommend it to anyone who likes the genre and has a sense of humor!! |
