In the late 1960's, four close-knit orphans in Australia, called the December Boys because they were all born in the same month, leave their orphanage for a holiday by the sea. Having all but given up hope of ever being adopted, the friends are on a seaside holiday one summer when they hear a rumor that a seaside couple are looking to adopt one of the orphans, friendships are tested and new alliances made as the four boys compete for the chance to gain a real family. |

| I personally enjoyed that movie so much. The beautiful scenery, the amazing actors and the interesting storyline just suck you in and never spit you back out. Daniel Radcliffe's Aussie accent was so amazingly realistic. You'd think he was born and bred as an Australian. And we must not forget the others Lee Cormie as Misty, Christian Byers as Sparks and James Fraser as Spit. They were just as good as Daniel even if not as famous. Teresa Palmer is beautiful and talented and brings so much as Lucy. The adults were interesting but not exactly what you came for. The ending is truly beautiful and it was so sad. I would say if you have not seen this movie make it your mission to see it. And don't forget your Kleenex. I have in my past years been known not to cry in movies but this one had me crying, even on the drive home. |
