| I quite enjoyed this film. When i watched it i was a bit disappointed that the entrance to the house had changed from the first film but at least they still had the grand foyer. The film didn't have the same creepiness that the first one did but i didn't mind. Because the first one lacked gruesome death scenes which this one had. The music was good except for that stupid Simple Survival song but reusing Don Davis' score was fantastic. After watching the film a few times now i have liked it more each time i watched it and made do with the changes to the exterior. I read an interview with Jefferey Combs and he was in talks with Producer Erik Olsen about making a third one where Vannacutt returns to the house. The ending in my opinion was very good but the movie was not long enough. I want an extended version. I mean they should have put the deleted scenes in the film to make it longer. Like the attic scene and the extended longe scene. |
